Hello ORC,
Wednesday is Car Free Day and you are doing your part by running on Wednesday night. There is a pottery show at MudFire. The Morgan Rowe Band is playing at the Concerts on the Square. There is also a rain barrel making workshop this weekend at Holy Trinity Parish. And Atlanta area McDonald's are serving up free coffee next week. And this weekend is the Atlanta Roller Girls championship bout, the Denim Demons versus the Sake Tuyas. What else is going on this week/weekend?
Here are some local races this weekend. On Saturday, September 22, is the Walk of Heroes 5K in Kirkwood. While at Stone Mountain is the ATC Singleton 5Miler and 10Miler. For trail racers there is the XTERRA Georgia Harbins Park 10K Trail Running Race in Grayson.
This Wednesday you will be running route 10. The run hits Rockyford, Hosea, Tupelo, and the rolling hills of Spence/McDonough. You can see the map through the link below. After this 5 miler it is off to Mojo's Pizza for food, drinks, and trivia.
Thanks for making the Oakhurst Running Club one of the friendliest running club in Atlanta.
