Hello ORC,
Here's a couple of local events. On Thursday at the Square is Chapel Perilous; a performance and video installation. It lasts 15 minutes and will run on a loop through the night. There is a pottery show at MudFire. Southern Order of Storytellers (SOS) presents its 23rd annual Tellabration at The Friends School of Atlanta. Decatur City Dance presents "A Day with Mother Goose" at the Beacon Hill Performing Arts Center. The Emory Dance Company presents Vault.
What else is going on this week and weekend?
Here's some local races this Saturday, November 17, there is the Race 2 Recycle 5K at Piedmont Park, the 5K Quest to End Homelessness at Grant Park, The Paideia School "Slither" 5K in Atlanta, and the Charity Benevolent Fund 5K Run & Mile Run at Agnes Scott College. On Sunday, November 18, is the Run! Foster! Run! 5K in Kennesaw.
On Wednesday night you will be running route 13. After looping through Kirkwood, the route goes up the hard flat of Oakview and hits the hills of Spence/McDonough. The link to the route is at the bottom of this e-mail. After the run it's off to Mojo's Pizza for food, drinks and trivia.
It's a night run so if you have not already, wear your reflective vests/shirts, bright colors, and flashing lights.
Thanks for making the Oakhurst Running Club one of the friendliest running club in Atlanta.
Corny
