Saturday Morning Runs at One Step at a Time

Saturday morning was cold.  It was in the teens at 9am.  Even with the cold weather, close to 20 people gathered at One Step at a Time for some runs.  A group of 8 went out for a long run to train for the GA ING Marathon and Half-Marathon.  The long run was 15 miles.  The route was simple and took a tour of Oakhurst, Winnona Park, Decatur, Lake Claire, Little 5 Points, and Druid Hills.  It was a real great group to run with.

The second group went out on the regular Saturday morning 5K/3.1 miles route through Oakhurst, Agnes Scott, and Winnona Park.  There was a diverse group of 8 and all had smiles on, even with weather starting in the teens.  Thanks to Charles Cope of One Step at a Time for hosting the runs, having a warm store to start and end from, and water available for all runners and walkers.

If you are interested in Saturday runs in the Oakhurst neighborhood, please join us.
