Track club accepting t-shirt designs

The Atlanta Track Club has begun accepting entries for the 2010 AJC Peachtree Road Race t-shirt design contest. The deadline is March 1. The winning artist will receive $1,000 and the unique honor of seeing his or her artwork on the 55,000 road race t-shirts.
The entries will be judged by a panel of judges from the track club, AJC and local graphic arts community. The five finalists will be revealed March 21, the same day that online race registration begins on ajc.com. The public can vote on the designs through April 30. The winning design will be revealed at the July 4 race.
